Tara Dower is a professional ultrarunner for Altra Running. Over the course of 2025, we documented her experiences with the hope of sharing her story far and wide. The year was a roller coaster of emotions from earning a Golden Ticket to Western States at Black Canyon in February, DNFing Western States in June because of a lingering intense illness, two weeks later in July missing Hardrock 100 by one spot on the wait list, all the way to setting the Vermont Long Trail OVERALL Fastest Known Time in August. Using a mixture of stills and motion, we created a series of digital postcards to accompany a longer documentary releasing at the end of the year.
